hi! i am isabella, a 22 year-old artist. this site serves as my corner of the internet to showcase my art, as well as commission information and where to contact me 🌷

🎀 my main passion is in children's illustration and dreamlike scenarios, focusing on pastel and ink as my usual traditional mediums.
🧸 procreate is my primary program for digital illustration. i have prior experience in adobe illustrator, clip studio paint, and firealpaca as well.

my goal

💕 there is so much hatred in the world; i want my creations to be a foil to it all.

i would describe my work as "childish," but in a good way. a child's art is most beautiful there is, the most technically skilled adult's artwork pales in comparison to the creations of a young mind that knows no criticism, only boundless imagination.
within my practice, i tread along a spectrum of pure childlike wonder to nostalgic sorrow. abandonment and vulnerability are contrasting themes i explore in my works when not -- through a rose-tinted lens. there will never be an air of true hopelessness, it is not what i want to portray. an ever-present, underlying sense of promise is vital to my craft and beliefs.
while most of my artworks stem from personal experiences and feelings, i hope for them to resonate beyond just me. there is a complex nature of childhood that i want to make my viewers aware of, a gap between innocence and isolation that i want to close. above all, i want to make anyone who sees my work to be pushed to acknowledge the inner child within, glancing back at them from the canvas. 💕
